In order to make your little soiree on National Wine Day a bit more festive, make wine cork crafts that can be hung from a light fixture, featured in a wine themed centerpiece, or used as wine coasters for all of the different bottles.  All you need are a supply of wine corks, so get drinking!

Make Your Own Wine Cork Crafts On National Wine Day

Wine cork crafts can be very fun to make, especially with a group of friends.  They only require the most basic household supplies and are a perfect way to celebrate National Wine Day.

Wine Cork Crafts Supplies:

• 6 wine corks per grapes bunch
• Glue
• Glitter paint
• Faux leaves
• Exacto knife
• Ribbon
• Optional: Hook or String

Step 1: Using the Exacto knife, cut the wine corks in half.

Step 2: Lay the cut wine corks out to design a bunch of grapes. Glue the wine corks together and let them dry. It is best to glue them one at a time and let the glue set before moving on to the next one.

Step 3: Paint the ends of the wine corks with glitter paint.  Or, use paint and then sprinkle glitter on.

Step 4: Glue the grape leaves to the top of the bunch, carefully avoiding the wet glitter paint.  Let the paint and glue on the leaves dry.

Step 5: Tie a bow and glue it to the top of the leaves. If you want to hang your grape bunches, use a pin to secure a string or tie it through a hole in between corks.
