Halloween decorations are all about being spooky and eerie, and what can be more fun than pairing Halloween Ornaments with Glow In the Dark Crafts? They only require 2 steps and a few minutes to make so this is a cool project to do with your kids.
I have really never done any glow in the dark crafts before, but these Halloween ornaments are so easy to do and I had a lot of fun bringing them into a dark room and turning off the lights to see what my final product would look like!
If you want to personalize your Halloween ornaments, add a paint marker to the list of supplies and write a name or cute saying as part of your glow in the dark crafts Halloween display.
Step 1: Carefully remove the cap from the clear glass ball ornament and sprinkle the confetti inside. We purchased a nail polish that already had the black bat confetti in it, but you can purchase these separately. Pour the nail polish or paint in and swirl it around to move the confetti until you have complete coverage with the glow in the dark polish or paint.
Note: Paper confetti can disintegrate, so it is important that you use the plastic variety.
Step 2: After the ornament is dry, replace the cap and tie a ribbon to the top of the ornament. We used a black glittered ribbon for a spooky look.
That’s it! Now you have a spooky glow-in-the-dark crafts Halloween ornament that is perfect for your festive decorating. You’re certain to be the hit on your block for trick or treaters if you hang these in your window! Make a few of these Halloween ornaments and decorate a Halloween tree with lights and you will have a unique, glow in the dark display that is perfect to put on a table in front of a window.
